  1. 2013 Customer of the Year - Rachel at Cintas

We love our customers.  We love helping them choose the perfect award for their event, creating that award for them, and then hearing about the reaction of the winner.   We have special customers who make our jobs meaningful with their positive attitude and fun spirit.

Customer of the Year Our 2013 'Customer of the Year' award!

We recognize our favorites with our "Customer of the Year" award.  This year's winner is Rachel Silvan at Cintas Corporation.

Rachel was nominated by our customer service team.  Qualities used to describe her include bubbly, sweet,  helpful and responsive.   Whenever our staff has a request for a Cintas order, Rachel is our go-to gal.  She gets us whatever we need right away. We are Cintas' place for recognition, including yearly awards, quarterly awards, and special events that happen occasionally through the year.  Our staff loves working with Rachel to help Cintas recognize excellence within their company!

Congrats Rachel and thank you customers for making our day.  We love working with you to deliver kudos throughout your organization!

    Cheers,
    Jessica

  2. Recap of the Trophy Busy Season

Our 2013 “busy season” is done.  Sports have finished their games, recitals are complete, schools are out for summer, and businesses are wrapping up the fiscal year.  Many personalized trophies, dogtags, metals, and corporate awards flew out of our doors, each one given to someone special who earned it.  It felt great to create all of these positive awards for people who deserved them.Chef Awards

While working in our production facility, we saw how creative and inspiring our customers can be.  They chose beautiful awards for retiring colleagues, with lovely and meaningful messages inscribed.  We created many fun awards, especially toilet trophies, for golf tournaments and corporate events.

Musicians and dancers received awards at their recitals, acknowledging practice and dedication throughout the year.  Many sports teams were recognized for working hard and improving over the season.  Coaches were given plaques and ball holders to memorialize their passion for the game, and to thank them for mentoring their players.  And many teachers were acknowledged for all they do for their students.

Each order we make has a story, and I loved capturing and sharing many of these on our Trophies2Go Facebook page.  It’s not every day you can create a trophy for “Nana who went to nationals” or “Runder Woman” who completed a half-marathon on Mother’s Day!  If you have a story of your award you’d like to share, email me at [email protected].

We love the work we do to provide meaningful recognition.  Thank you customers for allowing us to share in your accomplishments!

    Cheers,
    Jessica

  3. Trophies2Go Recognizes Clean-World Maintenance, Inc.

The Almost Dead Last Team is awarded the Golden Throne!

Our customer, Clean-World Maintenance, Inc. has been ordering golf tournament awards from us for 10 years! Owner, Derek Grieson, says his grandfather taught him, 'If it's not broke, don't fix it.'  So Derek continues to order his awards from us because he says he likes our service.

Every June, Clean-World Maintenance hosts the CWM Classic golf tournament for its customers, suppliers, employees and sub-contractors.  They award gold and silver resin trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams, longest drives and closest to the pin awards like many tournaments do.

But they have a great sense of humor. They also award the Dead Last Toilet Resin trophy to the last place team and the Golden Throne Golfing Resin to the Almost Dead Last team.  To add a little class to the outing, they award a Rosewood Wine Bottle Display Box with their logo engraved on it to special winners during the tournament.

The Wine Bottle Box with a logo on it makes a great gift.

Clean-World Maintenance, Inc. offers cleaning services all over the Pacific Northwest.  These services include:

  4. Be a Guest Blogger and Share the Power of Recognition

At Trophies2Go and Issaquah Trophy, we love hearing the stories behind the beautiful recognition awards we make for you. Will you tell us your recognition story that we can post here in our blog?

What should you write about?  Here are a few ideas:

How do you use recognition in your company or organization?  What results do you see from it?

Do you have Service Awards?  Sales Awards?  President Award? How often are they awarded?

Besides awards, what other ways do you recognize your employees, customers, partners or volunteers?

What’s the best recognition you have ever received and how did it make you feel?

What’s the funniest recognition you’ve given or received?  We know it’s important to have fun in the work place.  We see some pretty funny award come through our production facility.

Who will be reading what you write?

Other people, just like you, looking for ideas on what’s new in recognition. Or looking for ideas on how to reward their employees, customers, partners or volunteers. It might be someone who has a lot of experience with recognition, or it may be someone brand new and needing to start from the beginning.

    How long should it be?

However long you want it to be, but probably no longer than what can be read in a few minutes. If you’d like to include a photo of your award or even someone receiving their award, we would love that! Make sure you have permission to use the photo, please. And if the pictures are not yours, please let us know who to give credit to.

When you’re ready, go ahead and write your blog post in a Word document. Then email it along with any pictures to [email protected] We’ll let you know when it will be posted.

Thanks for considering being a Guest Blogger!  It’ll be fun.  You never know, you may discover something inside yourself that loves to write!

    Blessings!   Anne

  5. Customer Recognition: Operation Bald Eagle

We have a lot of really great customers.  Jeff Mitchell is at the top.  Not because he spends a lot of money with us.  But because he does some pretty amazing work.  I think you'll agree after reading about his organization.  It is called Operation Bald Eagle.

Operation Bald Eagle is about serving the men and women who serve to protect us: Military, Law Enforcement & Fire Fighters.  These patriots serve us sacrificially 24/7/365. Operation Bald Eagle seeks to serve them in their time of need.

They offer several services that are performed throughout the year as a way to give back to these groups of patriots, and their immediate families out of western Washington. These include care packages to the troops several times a year, visits to the VA Hospital's in Seattle/Tacoma several times a year, and Project Picking up the Pieces to the families affected by loss and their respective agency/department or military service.

Operation Bald Eagle also sponsors Toys for Troops to collect toys and clothes for our military in-need and the families of fallen military.  They collect picnic items Memorial Day through the end of June for Picnic for Patriots. This program provides a July 4th celebration for troop families.  And last year they were able to surprise 3 military families with a night’s stay and money to spend at Great Wolf Lodge.

Operation Bald Eagle and Eastside Fire & Rescue recognize Creekside Elementary for their supply drive. Operation Bald Eagle and Eastside Fire & Rescue recognize Creekside Elementary for their supply drive.

After more than 3 years running this organization part-time, while working a full-time job, Jeff is now running Operation Bald Eagle full -time.  He believes in doing whatever needs doing for those who sacrifice their all for all of us.  And he is talking it up on the radio and in communities, and finding other organizations to partner with to help spread his ideas and his services to other parts of the country.

If you’d like to learn more about Operation Bald Eagle, you can find them at their Facebook page .

Jeff is seeking volunteers to help with supply drives for Thanksgiving, July 4th and Toys for Troops.  He especially likes working with schools and has been known to drop in on a class to show his appreciation.  If you are interested in volunteering with his organization, email him at [email protected].

Keep up the great work Jeff!

    Blessings, Anne
